A skincare update featuring my current favourite Freeman Beauty masks.

My love for Freeman Beauty masks is not a secret around these parts. The first time I got them, I got the Apple Cider Vinegar Foaming Clay full-sized product. It lasted me at least fifty years.  Recently, I was experiencing gaps in my skincare routine. I had a face wash that's all about detoxing and is really nice to my skin. I had a toner that made sense, is actually useful. My moisturising is the one place where I was hoping and praying but it wasn't a train smash, I was enjoying exploring.

But soon enuf, I realised that there was a huge mask and scrub-shaped gap in my routine. I even got obsessive about it. Eventually, I did something about it and bought two Freeman Beauty Masks from Dis-Chem. I got the Freeman Beauty Polishing charcoal and black sugar gel mask and scrub, which comes highly recommended. I also got the Renewing Peel-off mask

I use this mask at least once a week and it does what it's supposed to do. The thing I like about it the most I can just lather it on when I wake up, don't judge me! I'm using it as a scrub more than a mask okay. I pop into the shower, washing my face last. I always feel smooth and clean after.

I don't think I understand what this peel-off mask is supposed to do but I do feel a whole lot better when I've done it. And if you follow me on Instagram then you've seen me peeling it off, which will never get old. My face feels supple and looks less dull. The routine I follow is that I'll do the peel-off a day or two after the polishing scrub -- it just makes me feel I've cleared any gunk that may have been clogging my pores etc, so I've done the "proper" cleaning and can now mask and play. I also enjoy it when my period breakouts clear.

I use this Freeman Beauty mask  (maybe) every fortnight. I should do better. I will apply it to clean skin, wait for it to dry, peel it off and get in the shower, washing off whatever gel is left behind.

I'm beginning to accept that skincare is neverending. When I was mask- and scrub-less a few months ago, these products were all I could think about. But now all I'm feeling is how my routine is missing a clay mask.

I'll add that, while I don't know I'm doing it, my face seems to have less sebum these days.

Have you tried the Freeman Beauty masks?
